My burb is a 87 with 70,000 original miles. It has a 4 bolt main TBI 350 with a lunati drag racing cam, ported heads with 2.02 and 1.60 valves. Tranny is a GM certa 700r4, t-case is a 208. 10 bolt front with 4.56s and a lock right. Rear is a 12 bolt with hardened axles and 4.56s, and currently open since the spoll gernaded. It is sitting on 38.5" SXs with a 4" tuff county ez ride lift. As for interior its all stock with captins chairs. Stereo includes 4 6x9s, pair of 4x10s, pair of 3.5s, pair of tweeters, and 3 15s out back /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have the front gears! I need $100 for bearings + install kit, $100 for labor on the gear install, $100 to have the front axle cut and rotated up, $225 for the driveshaft, and the only thing i haven't found yet is an indexing ring for the stock transfer case but i haven't looked too hard.

I've got the only suburban in the world with springer suspension. That count for anything???

BTW, I finally rounded out them front fenders, looks alot better.

I don't think the "biggest" is necessarily the "best" but here goes:

1978 K1500 Suburban: 396 BBC, Edlebrock intake, Carter AFB 650, Open chambered heads, TRW forged pistons, Pink connecting rods, forged crank, Cloys-Double true roller timing chain, Edlebrock RPM cam and lifters, Competition Cams "Magnum" roller tip rocker arms, Hooker headers, dual Flowmasters - Aluminum battery box - Optima battery, Factory Tach, TH400 rebuilt w/Hughes Torque convertor (oversized stator bearing and brazed fins)/NP205/10b with Warn Premiums/12b w/ Auburn Gear LS and Mosher Axles,
3.73's with new BFG AT KO 35's, 4" lift, new interior, upholstery, carpet,

Stuff waiting to be installed: , SEC rear bumper with tire carrier, Ramsey 12K winch &amp; bumper, 4L80E, BBC TBI system (still missing a few parts), dana 60 &amp; 14FF with discs - 4.56.

Mr. Pres. I dont know how to get the pictures on here but maybe you can help respond to 4 wheel parts, OFF-Road Adventures, little magazine, December/January 2003 issue page 42. The Burb has an OFFROAD Design sticker on the windshield. They also forgot to mention that the Sub could carry all the passengers of the three jeeps, watch a movie and legally drink a beer in the third seat. /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif

No, I have an 89 K-5, 6",FF14 bolt,HD44,35's. But it sounds like they were talking a little stuff about the abbility of our full sizers. I was hoping to stir up some sh-t and get a bunch of Burbs to reply with some pics and facts about ther bad ass Subs!
