here ya go dave. As long as they are certified they can be filled anywhere. Most places take the tanks in on trade then give you a newer one.

Jess the 15# is cheaper than that shipped, and I haven't been able to find anything close for less than 100$, and for that I might as well buy new.

Why not just use Nitrogen tanks ?

Nitrogen, when compressed, remains a gas.
CO2, when compressed, turns into a liquid.
Liquids are more dense that compressed gases, so you can fit more mass into that 10lb tank if you're dealing with a liquid compared to a gas.

Is this something you could use for shop use....how about a paint gun? would it work for something like that? how long would it run something like that?

well at 48cfm, the 15# tank would run out in about 10 minutes. A paint gun would take consideralby less, like 1/4-1/5 of that depending on gun.
