not sure exactly, but its a big one. leaking a lot down the back side of the engine. I don't think it's the oil pressure sending unit, or the rear main but I can't see back there to be sure. I'm planning on yanking it out and taking a look.You are welcome. What kind of oil leak?

Or the rear seal on the intake. I've seen them just barely be hanging on and finally pop out. Both Julie's Suburban and my K2500 have leaks there. I need to get new gaskets on them but have not had the time yet.

Got the engine pulled yesterday and started looking for the leak.You are welcome. What kind of oil leak?


If I end up putting any real money into this engine that will be on the list.I'd bet if you put on some nice mid length headers and a dual exhaust you'd be happier with your engine...those center dump manifolds are pretty restrictive...

hmmm, guess I still have timing issues then. I went to mid-grade gas (I've been using 91) and the pinging was back, although not as bad.nada.....
