Wide tires on H2's.

What's the widest tire anyone has put on their H2's? I'm looking at eventually going to the new BFG KM2's in the 38" or 40" but they are 14.5 wide and the recommended wheel width is 10-12" and as we all know H2's are only 8.5" wide.

Running internal beadlocks will I be okay with the H2's or should I look to sell them and get 17x10 steel wheels with DIY4x's beadlock kits?

I have seen 44's (19" wide) on the H-1's. I personally run 42's (15" wide). My h-1's have Kert's rock ring installed.

I like your rig and appreciate the input but I'm referring to the H2's.

i have 39.5's on mine. This has nothig to do with how wide they are but i am thinking of getting some wheel spacers because I don't like the hub stickout.

Nope the 42s are 14 the 39 are 13.5

Both myself and others in our club run 15.5" wide tires on 8" wide rims with no issues. Sure, they are not H2's but rim width is rim width. Same goes for the above example of the H1's.
