will 16.5x12\'s work on my new 19.5\"wide tires?

i just bought a new set of 44x19.5x16.5 boggers. i was wondering if i could get by with running them on a 12 inch wide rim. if not, how wide should the rim be, and where can i purchase them? thanks

Yes, 12" wide rims will fit but if I were you, I would look at 14" wide rims for better fit. But that's my opinion only.

12 and 14 inch rims can be found just about anywhere as they are pretty common sizes for 16.5" rims. Get some magazines and browse the ads.

I've got some Weld Racing wheels in the shed, 12 x 16.5's. You can check out www.weldracing.com for their line of rims. Be warned that these rims are a little on the pricey side but nobody can beat their 3200 lbs. weight rating. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Sure they can, my 16x10 AE589's are rated for 3420 pounds.

Maybe so, but you can't get tires that big in 16" rims. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif
