i just picked up some 15x12 white wagon wheels with 40/17/15 ground hawgs last night for 75 bucks. the tires are pretty much bald but hold air. i bought them thinking my 35/12.50/15 bfg mts will fit on the wheels. i plan on painting them black. will my tires fit on 15x12's? i wanted wider rims and ran across these.

Way to wide unless your going for the ballooned look. Even then it'd be way easy to pop a bead..

I agree. I think a 12.50 tire should go on either an 8" or 10" wheel. My wife has some 33x12.50s on 15x12s on her Jeep and there is absolutely no sidewall flex at all. The tire can go completely flat and still look the same. Traction is hindered and that setup contributes to a really crappy ride, even for a Jeep. If you're going to run the 12" wide wheels, get some 15.50 Boggers or Cepeks or something.

i picked up a set of wheels from my buddy, actual measurement is 11" wide....is this a 15x10 or 15x12 wheel?

Where are you measuring from? You should measure from the insides of the mounting flanges. It may actually be an 11" wheel.

thanks for all the replies. i think i might have a set of extra wheels and tires now. i measured the wheels and they are almost 14" wide, from edges of inside of rim. it explains why they look so wide. the guy i bought them from said 15x10" so i didn't even measure them, couldn't find a tape measure. i know they won't work with my bfg's. hopefully i'll be able to sell them and get my 75 bucks back.
