He all! i am looking at a 1978 rocker molding and floor ( drivers side) for my 1988 blazer. mine are GONE. i am getting a 1987 quarter ( full) that has the inner parts and the wheel well areas along with a section of the rockers. it is from a reputable yard out west. I was looking to get this floor section since all the stuff i got from AMD and other places are for trucks and need a ton of modifications to work. if anyone can let me know if this floor and rocker will fit, i can get the stuff shipped today. thanks!

I used a NOS GM driver rocker on a 1978. I think the rocker was for a 91 perhaps. The GM NOS rocker was not a great fit for the 1978. However the GM NOS rocker has thicker metal then the current oversees rocker offerings.

i went with AMD pieces and kept the trans tunnel. truck is almost ready for primer and paint. the floors have done well. the fit was decent

You used an AMD rocker in a 78 K5? How was the fit of the AMD rocker? Also was the AMD rocker the same thickness as the original?
