so.. i had a lockright for the old truck that i never put in, now i have this newer truck and it needs a locker. will the old unit fit?

Will a LockRight from a 1990 10-bolt fit a 2002 10-bolt?

Fairly sure it will. The carrier bearings are different, but I'm pretty sure the carriers interchange. Check out their website and see if the part numbers are different. Both are 30 spline.
