Will it fit?

I have a set of 35x12.50 bfg all terrains on stock wheels right now and I was given a set of 15x12 wheels. Will a 12.50 tire work on a 12 in wheel and will it look ok?

Keep it as is. You will have to trim your fenders and it will look funny.

My k5 has a 6in suspension lift so I don't think I will need to trim the fenders.

I've seen 12.5's on 12" rims before. They do fit but they look more like the beaner setups. Personally, I wouldn't go wider than 10" for that tire size.

I have a 5 inch lift on mine with 35 12.50 16 on 16x8 wheel and had to trim.

I know the backspacing is correct cuz the PO had these wheels on the k5 with 35x17.50 tires. I really don't like the bubble look on the stock rims so I think I'll try them till I find some other rims or some bigger tires.

12's would look much better on 17.5's.

A good rule of thumb I go by is to not increase the sidewall more than the rim by 2".
