Will my K5 look stupid with 33's??

Will my K5 look stupid with 33\'s??

Thinking of attempting to get some driveability back without having to regear quite yet. Would slapping some 33x12.5x15's on there look stupid? Thanks for opinions!!!

Its up to you, but id invest it in gears or in my case whole new front and rear axles /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

i run 35s on a rig lifted/trimmed for 39.5s... IMO it doesnt look "stupid" but on the other hand it doesn't quite look "right" either. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif i tend to not give a crap what other yahoos think though, so its all good. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

That rig looks way too clean to be a NewEngland K5 born n' raised. Very Nice/forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

But in reply to your question, I too have reverted to 33's for my daily driving, and if you think back to how our trucks looked stock with those little 235/75/15, that's really the same look you'll have now. No big deal.

I think it will look better, especially if the 33's will go on different rims that are wider.

Matt...where'd u get that hood? I've seen a few pics previously posted, and i really like it! a lil off the subject line, i know...but i like the 4" lift with 33's....and IMO the 35's look almost too big unless you do some /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif ...but after seein your pic, 6" and 33's would look good too. HHHHMMMMM

muddytazz has 33 on his burban with a 6" lift...I thought it looked pretty damn good!!

nate, I came across the factory sticker in my blazer...31's were a factory option in mine, and it was delivered with it! i add this in response to your 235 tire size post...but agree even the 31 looks a bit tiny, hence the desire for a lift and 33's. I had an 95 F-150 (POS) w/ 4" lift and actually 32's fit better than the 33's i had...blazer looks to have more room in the wheel wells, so the blazer should be good w/4"...but 6" is soundin good.

I have 5 with 33's and I think it looks fine. Plus you can flex more w/ less body dammage or cutting.

I wish mine had been. I was stuck driving around on 28.9" tires, and everyone said it looked way too small. Which it was. Here's an old shot of my truck right after i got the 4" lift installed with those tiny tires/forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

But I think it will look fine with the 33's. And another benefit is it won't be as harsh on those 10 bolts. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

A friend of mine runs 3.08's and 35's...
He just uses the 35's for trial use..
and has a set of 31's for the road..

As far as 33's...and 308's...you may not notice much difference from the 35's...

I have the same thoughts as JK5.........I don't really think you will see much of a difference between 35's and 33's.

It was ok to drive but it does look funny, of course since I put my 35's on I haven't drove it much since I've yet to regear so no one is really getting to look at it /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

I'd say instead of spending the money on new tires spend the money on gears... of course I have the gears for mine I've just yet to put them in /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif

Does looks really matter compaired to preformance ?? Heck, if it's just till you can do a gear swap, go for it and don't worry how it looks.
