here's the deal...i bought my one tons for my mud truck, and the brake lines are about a foot too long....can i just wire tie them up out of the way and run them or do i need to drop the coin on new ones. these are brand new and in perfect shape.....just too long...

oh yeah, by the way...im running 12in superlift springs up front and they still are a foot too long. haha.....

thanks guys

you could just make a loop in them, and avoid any moving parts of course. Steel lines will carry the pressure you need for brakes, even if they're a foot too long.

Not really going to hurt anything, maybe affect the feel of the pedal. Just be sure to keep them away from the tires. Having a loop in them might make bleeding more of a challange.

loops = bad air can get traped.

coils on a down ward turn = flex in a hard line to keep vibration out of the line. and wont trap air .

seen lots of guys zip tie the extra to the shocks body to keep it out of the way.

My brake lines are 40" long (which is way too long) those cheap springs you buy at a hardware store go a long way to keeping them out of the way. I don't feel any adverse effect
