I've been told there are a couple of other guys coming from SoCal but I'm not sure. We started out around 30 people but jobs, expenses and life in general has cut us to probably around 15.

Trail Run List

Monday 15th - ? (bggrnchvy and barbastard will in Moab this date and needs to hook up with some CK5 guys that know the trails if available)

Tuesday 16th - Hell's Revenge

Wednesday 17th - Pritchett Canyon

Thursday 18th - Moab Rim

Friday 19th - Gold Bar Rim, Golden Spike, and Poison Spider Mesa (Stopping to Place Plaque at Jason’s Site )

Friday Night 19th - Blazer Bash Bar-B-Q where Willyswanter's trophy is passed on to the 2008 best engineered rig's owner.

Saturday 20th - Leave for home.

Anyone that wants to team up on the trails on Monday the 15th, contact bggrnchvy and anyone that wants to go with all the California guys on Tuesday through Friday, post up and will all get together. I wish we could be there all weekend but work schedules and drive time force us to leave on Saturday.

I'm planning to run Gold Bar on Sunday, I'll have to make sure and keep an eye out for the new plaque. Is it going to be conspicuous? I went with you all last year for the memorial so I know where it is on the trail; just curious about the plaque location.

I'm sure you guys will enjoy yourselves and we'll see you at the BBQ. :waytogo:

Yeah...if anyone is around on Monday and is going to be running some trails let me or Kyle (bggrnchevy) know as we'd like to hook up with some other folks and go wheeling. We'll be at Slick Rock campground.

I don't want to ruin the surprise, if it is supposed to be, but I know of a fellow from back east that is making every effort to be in Moab to see willyswanters dad and group.

Tortilla man cometh???? eh????

First I've heard of it...but if that's true it'll be great to see him....been since BB '06 since I've seen him. I miss not having him in Nor-Cal.

If that is Rodney (WVJeepBuilder) from West Virgina he has called and will not make it, but he is flying out next month and will be at our home on the 4th. Otherwise, I don't know of anyone coming from the east.

Rodney is the guy Fred was referring to. Too bad he's not going to make it to Moab this year.

Jason’s Plaques arrived yesterday as scheduled and they are perfect and we are very happy with them (pictures from Moab to follow). I went out last night and purchased everything I could imagine we would need to install the Moab plaque on a rock face. Brought it all home in 5 Lowe’s bags. Today I was looking at all the crap I bought and Willyswanter’s Mom walked by and said “There’s a canvas tool bag in Jason’s apartment; why don’t you put all of it in there, it will be easier to carry”. Once again I thought (to myself) she’s crazy, all this won’t fit. But as a good husband wanting to prove her wrong, I went to J’s place and found the bag which was full of broken electrical parts; must be his trash bag from his trouble shooting jobs. I cleaned it and set down next to my 5 full bags of crap and started loading it and you guessed it, it all fit perfectly and exactly, no extra room. Then; just as I told her it all fit, “Spirit In The Sky” started playing on the radio like it was planned; Willyswanter’s Mom just turned towards me and smiled. No more words were spoken, I just went out side to be alone - again.

Day one at Moab is over and Hells Revenge is history as the Truggy showed its abilities. Lots of pictures will be posted soon and you will see 4 wheeling, 3 wheeling and a couple of times 2 wheeling but that brings on the pucker power. Every time Este and I stopped for fuel of food people lined up and started taking pictures, we’re famous; OK maybe not but our paparazzi was everywhere. Truggy went places no other truck would go and not one thing went wrong, everyone that worked on the truggy should be every proud, it is incredible.

Had a great group of people to wheel with today and look forward to tomorrow.
