Wilson's 1986 k5 blazer build

I did run it for 20 min at 1500-2000 rpm's like you guys said so it is broken in. It is running good. It feels like it needs minor tweaking (it idles pretty low) but all in all I am very pleased:pimp: Also a small vibration sometimes while giving it gas...All things I have to look at and see whats up...trying to find the damn camera cord so I can pic whore myself out

For the vibration, check your motor mounts and trans mounts.

I had a vibration above 3000. Changed the flexplate, all is smooth. Oh, and i dig the paint dude. If i bought a new mustang, itd be that color :thumb:

More pics to come! Just have to go to radioshack or something! And thanks man, I will look at flexplate also...I believe it is happening around those rpm's so that may be it. I can't tell because I don't have an rpm gauge

Mine wasnt cracked or anything really noticeable. But when i put my new tranny in i replaced it with an sfi ( i think) from summit thats thicker and stronger, and when i looked at the old one it was warped, but not cracked. Will be hard to check warpage, but a crack would be easy to spot

Damn it:doah: I hear that every time I meet someone for the first time...Just had an idea to paint my rear diff like that :pimp:

Hopefully pics will be up for you guys today :waytogo: worst case I will take phone pics and upload them one by one

I have all next week off so that is definitely on the to do list. Pics I took today will be posted tonight:waytogo:
