Spelling, punctuation, and complete sentences would assist in our understanding what the h-e-double-hockey sticks you're asking.

Oh yeah, and maybe paragraph breaks.

I'll try this agin. I have a T-MAX EW12500HD. My question is about placement of the fairleed. To get the fairleed opening to center on the bottom one third of the drum it will hang 5/8" below winch mount. If I mount the fairleed flush with bottom of winch , the opening between the rollers is near the center of the winch. Again Thanks.

Ah, makes more sense. Seems weird that the winch doesn't have any sort of mounting or documentation on mounting the fairlead, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Seems to me that, for the least stress on the cable, you'd want the center of the fairlead on the center of the drum or a bit higher, assuming you load the cable over the top of the drum. Is the bottom 1/3 third thing from T-Max, or is it a rule of thumb I didn't know about?
