Winches?

I got M8000 from 4wheelparts for 560 shipped with roller fairlead. Its still in the box I would sell for 500= shipping.

I agree with the muddermilitia.

Plus I am eating blue corn chips.


And that link sent me straight to a roof rack for blazers. Not a winch or anything of the sorts... Kinda confusing....:haha: :haha:
 
Thanks for the great advice guys, although i've had my blazer goin on 6 yrs now, i'm just starting to really get enough money to be able to really wheel it.

I'm either goin the Tabor 9k or a used warn 8274, i'll be looking around till i find something under $500

and this post got way bigger then i thought it would !

If the shipping doesn't kill the deal, I see alot of used Warn winches of various types for sale on ebay. I was watching a few auctions yesterday to see what the ended at. I just missed an old worm gear Ramsey 12,000 lb RE series that sold for $455 without a cable and shipping on it would have been $95 to get it 1/2 way across the country and those winches are heavy (135 lbs).

Someone brought up the Warn M8000, I have not quite figured out why they are so much cheaper than other warn winches but you can find really good deals on new ones frequently. I friend of mine had one on a stock Z71 and it never failed him. Alwaysseemed to pull hard and get the job done.
 
I've used my milemarker 12000 SE on over 20 pulls with some of them majorly buried. It has been submerged at least twice right before a pull and I have yet to have any trouble at all. I have a warn 9500 sitting in my garage waiting to be put on my rear but haven't needed it yet because of the MM. I know that it has a bad rep from the 4x4 world and CK5 but until it fails, I will have to disagree with you all. I WILL let you know if and when it does and then will probably jump on the "Nothing but Warn because all else SUCKS!" bandwagon. Until then, I will continue to pull everyone out around me with my $600 MM.:D

I wanted a winch for my Blazer, but didn't want to spend too much cash so i just waited and kept my eye on the local craigslist adn auto trader etc...finally two weeks ago I found a Warn 9000i with the fairlead, hooks, mounting hardware etc.. that was good as knew for $440. The waiting game worked out for me...I just hate waiting.

haha yea ur right, when I clicked on it yesterday it had a listing of winches, now it doesnt :haha:
 
I have a ramsey patriot 15,000 and never used it yet.... mounted between my frame rails in the back and I went to just unspool/spool it up with the wireless remote and no go.. just clickeys... hope im not having problems with the relays..... havent used it yet and alreay dead?????:crazy:
