Window tint

A script from the eye doc and you can tint the windshield. Would love to do a light tint, concern would be all the attention and getting pulled over having to show proof of script. Have antique plates so maybe it wouldnt be an issue. Headlights are blinding, especially at night

Get yellow shooting glasses, if you where glasses get the OG yellow safety glasses.
My daughter is overly light sensitive, I got her a designer pair of glasses with an orangish yellow lens, she looked at me like I had 3 heads. Few months later, she is freaking out cause she miss placed them, and needs them to drive at night. lol kids sometime the parents do know what they are talking about. We found them with much more drama.

Soft top seems like money well spent if thats the cost to do tint.

Hoping to get my soft top on this weekend
Right? I mean ceramic is nice and all but man, $750 is pretty steep. A few hundred more and I can afford a soft top.

I may go cheap and get a basic tint

I find it odd everyplace I've contacted that said they are mobile, once request is sent in, and I talk to them, they only do tint in their shop. Very annoying wasting my time

Interesting. Out of curiosity, I called LV Window tint who did my dually back in 2011. I asked for my K5, told him only doors and glare strip. (Have a soft top)
Told me $379 for top of the line ceramic.

Was factory glass ever offered as tinted for the door glass? I know you could get top and back window tinted factory. At those prices I would consider swapping glass (better quality than applying something that will eventually need replacement?). But guess trouble of course is trying to source it.

This is why I do everything myself, I'm a cheap ass and can't stand to pay other people to do anything I could figure out and do myself.

I did a few of the windows in my 77 burb. the rear sides I did when I redid the window seals. Tint was from autozone, doubt I bought ceramic. have done 1 rear door when I redid all the weather strip took the windows out so new tint. all of them had old tint, sprayed them down tint side with windex put a black trash bag on top left in sun for 30 mins, peeled the trash bag off and the tint can with it. only a few tiny spots to hit with razor blade after. easy removal
