windshield washer

On my way to work this morning my windshield was dirty so I pushed the wiper button and now everytime I turn the wipers on the pump runs. Not sure what it is. Is it the pump or or the switch

I would say its a short in the switch or the washer button is stuck on, if it was just the pump it would run regardless of switch position
