So I currently have a custom wiring harness in my K10. The way its set up is the factory harness hole is welded over with a patch and the new fuse box is mounted back in the factory location. The wires are all run through a hole next to it and all the way back to taillights, headlights, engine, ect. I'm swapping cabs and need to remove the harness but I currently have no way of disconnecting the cab harness from the chassis. What are your thoughts on cutting and soldering all the wires back together? Or how about a bulk harness disconnect plug? And if so where could I get such a thing?

It should be water proof. I know there are some really trick but expensive. How many wires does it need to hold?

Of course weather proof!

Not exactly sure on the exact amount of wires but upwards of 20.

Lots of HD applications use cannon plugs like that to separate harness' just understand those aren't bulkhead connectors. They're still considered a deutz connector I'm pretty sure.

Do you know if these connectors are sold empty or do they come with the pins? The websites aren't clear on that. And it seams Digikey would have to backorder the pins, however the minimum backorder amount is 9000 :eek1: :screwy:

McMaster Carr has some:

However, they are only designed for a 16awg wire and my entire harness is 14awg... :doah:

Ok so I placed an order with WaytekWire for a set of the Molex XRC 31 pin connectors. They should be ticket! :D

I'm hoping to run one of these types of connectors in my truck. I want to run the fuse block and ECM for the gen 3 through 2 inch hole where the ESC came through.

I did a ruff estimate and it's around 40-50 wires. :doah:
