all you had to do was click it and it enlarges, put your mouse over the pic and you'll see.

Anyway, really nothing to show right now, but good news is my wheels are finished and being shipped tomorrow

I would be interestd to see the bolts and threads you had to cut.

I threw the parts in the trash, but heres a pic of the shackle. I had to cut the end of the bolt off, then press it thru to cut it. You can see in the pic the sleeve is attached to the bolt, not the rubber bushing.

I know, just throwing that out there. Heck IMO if you're going to go to the trouble to take pics and upload them you might as well make it so we can scroll through and check it out w/o having to click, click, click.
:dunno:

You get used to the time after awhile, Im a mech CAD draftsman/designer for a production oil/gas co in Houston, hydraulics and structural weldments etc. Its tough because you dont get much sleep or family time, but the paycheck every 2 weeks makes you think its worth it. I also work alot of weekends too but try to limit that to 5am-2pm or so. I had been working 7days a week until just recently, I needed a break, but the overtime is still unlimited....work all you want :doah:

I got layed off in February from a smaller co that had no work, got hired on here in April and they have tons of work....strange world

wheels came in, they look damn good. They have a light metallic but didnt show up in the indoor pics

specs are 15x8 3.75" backspacing 6x5.5

Those are 16x8 ford wheels on his but yes same basic hubcap wheel.
He shipped them Tuesday and I got them Thursday, CO to TX
He can do any color you want basically, theres a chart in the link below. These have the metallic color then a clear coat on top. 15x8 are $120ea plus $20 for powder in any color. They use original GM centers and weld them to new outer hoops, you choose width and backspacing. Mine are 15x8 3.75"BS

My color is T357-GR105 Silver Metallic 70% Gloss which is close to the factory rally wheel color (argent), I almost did them in black but changed my mind

The camera doesnt do the wheel color justice, they look sweet in person.

I hope to have them bolted up to the Jimmy this weekend if it doesn't fight with me too bad:woot:

Very nice wheels, just can`t wait to see the finished lift,it will look SWEET!!
Thanks, I sure hope it all works out and clears fine

Oh im diein here! Can not wait to see finished pics!

Thanks...me too the anticipation is killing me.

Okay, took another 8 hours but got the front done 90%, still have to install ext ss braided brake lines, reconnect swaybar. I tried to remove old steering arm and it wouldnt budge so Im gonna order a drop pitnam and try that. The angle isnt bad but its not straight either...need some examples of acceptable.

The back is a little low so its going up 1.5" tomorrow with block kit.

bad news >>> one of my wheels powdercoat is screwed-up, like the clear or mettalic got heavy at the curves/dia and actually looks brown...hence why the wheels/tires arent on.

Anyway...small update but here is how it sits TONIGHTwith 3" lift.
