1/2 ton status
I'm headed back out to Pull and Save to try and snag a 14 bolt out of a 1-ton 2wd truck. It was a factory 6-cyl/4spd, so I'm hoping two things:
1. that it has 4.56 gears
2. that it's still there when I get there
Also, does anyone know if front 1-ton 2wd calipers are the same as 1-ton 4x4 (D60) calipers?
I also spotted a 14 bolt in a fullsize van. What was the most common gear ratios in the vans? I'd assume it's probably 3.73, but if it were 4.10, I might try and snag it, too.
It's $86 for a whole axle assembly.
