I was sold a set of axles once upon a time, and I was told they were 4.10 geared.

They were not.

I found that out after I had already installed the rear 14bff from that set in the back of Wade's Suburban.

The 4.10 gears in the Dana 60 did not jive well with the 3.73's in the 14bff. Plus a 6.2 powering a Suburban with 37" tires on H1's through a TH700R4 and 3.73's in horribly anemic.

So we pulled the 4.10 geared 14bff out of that '78 K20.

Even with 4.10's it is going to be undergeared, but it will be better, and at least matched until Wade ponies up the money for some 5.38's.

I cut off and welded the left rear shock mount back on. So I had to go play.
