WL: Crusty 1985 K20.

Looked like you cut it further up the bed and wouldn't sit flush with the rear hangers... Looks are deceiving my friend.
 
I cut some more stuff today.

I also did a little welding.

Have to go to the bar now though.

I'm pretty suprized you welded that without blowing big holes through that thin tin down at the bottom.

And I don't usually like the looks of bobbed beds, but it think the proportions of what you did turned out cool!
 
Don't forget I have that headlight bezel for that thing. It's the little things!!

I know. Even more importantly, a sliding rear window. I need to round up the parts you need from me, and deliver them down to you.

That's why the welds are so ugly, have to keep tacking, instead of burning it in. I am no welder.

Welding on rusted chebbies isn't Welding, I find it takes a certain art to make it work :haha:
 
Does it make replacing the U joint a PITA, or is it pretty much out of the way?
