Woke up to no brakes

Ok guys I need a little troubleshooting advice. When I hopped in the truck this morning my brake pedal went straight to the floor. I checked my fluids and they were just about empty, after refilling the brake fluid there isn't much change. I can not see any visible leaks anywhere, could I just need a new master cylinder or should I be checking something else?

if it was empty you will need to bleed them

If the master cylinder was empty, there is a leak somewhere. Brake fluid doesn't just disappear. Unless it wasn't filled at the last brake job.

I've heard of bad vaccum boosters sucking it past the master cylinder seals and into the motor to be burned. I'm thinking I may have it going on my self.

Should be able to pull the vacuum hose off and see if it is wet inside.

Bleeding the brakes did the trick, I have owned the truck for less than a month and never gotten around to checking the basic stuff Thanks for everyones input

If it was dry i'd still keep a close eye on fluid level. It still had to go somewhere.
