Loose connector somewhere. First thing I do is pop off all the wires and reconnect them. Sometimes that's all it takes. Glad you got it. Problem is it can happen again and you still don't know what caused it.

I bet its the injector leads.
Whenever i see an electrical issue,
I immediately disconnect the nearest connector and clean it.
Ive fixed dozens of vehicle "problems" by cleaning things off.

Could have been. He did take them off to test for the +12Vdc input while we were on the phone.
