Not a GM but, I wish I had snapped a pic nonetheless, as I drove by, I saw an International Scout in a junkyard, just saw the nose of it. Turned in to take a look, talked to the junkyard's owner and he says yeah, go ahead and walk out there, we want $1000 for it. I walked out to it as I got closer, it got worse and worse looking. (had other cars completely around it so, no direct line of sight) Got up to it and saw the topper was the only thing keeping the rear quarter panels vertical, they were sitting on the ground though, with the rear seat sitting on the framerails holding the topper up! Whole floor was rusted away, gone completely!!! I mean, I know Scouts were famous for rusting but, that was CRAZY!!! Needless to say, $1000 was maybe a little steep! (like the angle of the roofline!) :haha:

When I lived in NY, we had a 79 Crew cab GMC single rear wheel 2wd that we used to pull our horse trailers. (454, th400, thing would pull a house!) Its bed was so rusted that the only thing holding it together was the 3/8" plate of the fifth wheel ball mount! We'd park it for most of the year and whenever we'd go to use it, we would have to first cut down the small trees that were growing through the bed! :doah:

It could pull a house, but it couldn't pull away from a couple of saplings???

I DD'd a truck worse than that white C30.

One of the bolts for the trans tunnel, had worn through the bellhousing in the TH350 from a complete lack of any front cab mount structure.

The fender bolts were the only thing holding things somewhat lined up until I jumped it.

I did 100 mph everywhere in that truck lol.

this truck was bad, basically rust holding hands. although the frame and running gear were in great shape. It was a farm/woods truck, and if you hit a bump big enough, the cab would shift side to side about 2 inches.

poor things

I have like....a golf ball size rust hole in the roof. Maybe my cab isn't CA original. :D
