okay, im done whoring pics for tonight:haha:

Back in the day...way before I started really modding my truck. I know there was a hole there and tried to ride the bank and just slipped down in it. Door handle was up against the bank, took a couple trucks to get me unstuck.

These are some old pics back when she was still a pretty straight bodied truck with some rust...but thats history now:D

Knocked the tire off the bead(38 TSL) in this mud hole

Jeep on 34's in the hole I blew the tire off the bead before I hit it

Got stuck again on the exit to the trail I knocked the tire off the bead, my spare was a 35 so I couldn't lock the hubs in :doah: ...

This last summer at our annual mud run.

Same place, same truck. In the spring tho.

This one doesn't look bad but, want ya can't see is bad!!! This one was with my ZR2 Blazer- The ifs is laying on the slick wet log that ya see behind the driver's front wheel. Same log is in front of the passenger side wheel (angled), whilst a bigger log is behind the Blazer, blocking access to the rear tow points while the Blazer is blocking anyone from getting in front of it on the trail. All 4 tires would spin with no progress made in any direction! :doah:

Same rig got high centered on the frame in trenches in the mud made by 39's in a mud pit at 11pm on the 4th of July, LOL! Wish I had pics of that, we snapped the only strap we had, and almost got the other rig stuck trying to get into into position to pull mine so, we had to walk about 3 miles out to another buddy's 2wd truck (he couldn't go down the trail at all), and go to Wal-Mart (only place open) to buy straps whilst covered head to foot in sloppy mud! Wish I'd had pics of that!

Here's one of the Jeep I had, hit an old familiar mud hole that I didn't know had been dug out with a backhoe since last time I had gone through it! There was mud coming in though my dash vent and through the speakers in my doors! Bent a couple rods and warped my crank! :doah:Sorry about the bad cellphone pic:

There was about 6" mud inside the Jeep too! This was a ZJ with 4.5" lift and 33's! A few weeks later I found out some guy with a brand new (he had it for like two weeks) FJ Cruiser hit the same hole with the same results, made me feel not quite so bad about my (comparatively) cheap Jeep mishap. I heard the FJ Cruiser got it bad enough that it was totalled out! :doah:

Pretty weird that you lost the inner bead.

This one was pretty bad. They tried a huge rope to get me out gave the truck pulling me a good 50 ft start on dry ground he hit the end of the rope and I barely felt it.

It took a 12k lb winch that was get this quadruple lined, and 6 other trucks anchoring the winching truck. We had to pull out 3 of the anchor trucks after the fact.

Lemme tell you when winch is quadruple lined it pulls very, very, slowly

big props to whoever made the winch cradle ^^^^

LOL fortunately it was mounted like a big winch should be with the feet facing forward. Similar to how an 8274 mounts. After we got done winching we found 4 of the 8 bolts holding the winch mount on had stretched and one of them had broke. Long freaking day.

Here is one that looks bad but wasn't really. Real solid tug from another truck got me out. The interesting part of this though I was letting a buddy drive, and he was driving through this part we call the channel and he just quit moving. Broke a front stub shaft. Horton was rocking right along and then nothing. Later that day several trucks got stuck there, Most of them only having a rear locker, without true 4wd it was a very hard spot.

Remember those are 44" tires I had on at the time

Here is one when I was stuck on a mini van. All 4 tires were off the ground. It took 3 jeeps with winches pulling from the rear and a tractor lifting the front and pushing me backwards.

Munepit-that's awesome!!! Some monster truck action in the 'Burb!!! BTW- that is a gorgeous 'Burb you've got there!!!

Here's not a bad one but a funny/embarassing one for y'all! My (used to be) buddy buried his Tahoe to the frame 25' onto the beach access up at Outer Banks (so, 30 seconds into wheeling we had to get him unstuck, LOL!):
Stuck1.jpg

Thing that makes this so funny is there were minivans and RAV4's and such driving past him just fine, LOL! He got into trouble because he tried to romp it in 2wd to show off, got stuck then shifted to 4wd and really romped it 'cause he was pissed 'cause I was picking on him getting stuck! BUT, the little actuator is his front axle had gone bad so, 4wd wasn't engaging though the dash symbol indicated it!
'nother shot (after a little digging):
Stuck.jpg

At the time I had a Grand Cherokee and mine was the biggest vehicle other than the Tahoe. The ZJ struggled pulling the heavy Tahoe out, felt like I was gonna rip the back end of my unibody off!!!

Sand like that is another animal if you aren't used to it. You go to jsut about any beach entry....and locals are driving through in stock civics.....and out of towners are getting stuck in 4x4's :doah:
