wow...blazer camper special ..1 of 2000made...

Haven't talked to any of the chalet and casa grande guys on here, have ya?:wink1:

no i haven't...geuss im missing out...looks like a badass camping/track going rig though. i just wanna go see it in person to be honest with you. haha

Take a camera and take lots of pictures! Then post them so we can see it nice and close. What I have heard about them the front windows on camper leaked like a sieve and were heavy little buggers. Frig sometimes would not work but hey would make a nice vacation home!

Talk to some of the chalet guys on here. They're trying to document the trucks and might have a few requests for you.

I know on the camper their should be a metal plate that says what number the camper is and date made. I myself like them. Saw my first on in 1977 and fell in lust with it.

"On the back left corner of the camper is a metal plate with the serial number and manufacturing date stamped into it."

There's one of these about 3/4 mile away from me. Looks like an early 80's model. Really rough though, and it appears that it is hardly, if ever, driven.

My brother UDY has/had one. Needs some work, but I think it's usable. I'll have to call him to see if he still has it, it's been a couple of years since I've seen it. I don't think his wife knows he owns it!

those trucks are o.k., I guess. I don't know why anybody would want one though....................................................................................:pimp:

... i had never seen one...
I'll direct you to my threads here http://www.coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2201462#post2201462 and here http://www.coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=227805

PM sent about that one, probably a shell grafted on a non-original Blazer....

Silly KJ, ya should ask why anyone would want an all green one...

And finally, that Chalet is one I first stumbled across via an archived page & photo from an old blazerchalet.com buy/sell page (scroll 90% down to the one by "Donn Waters" http://web.archive.org/web/20050404233529/www.blazerchalet.com/cgi-bin/buysell.pl pic below), and that's how I identified it in this kijjiji ad. http://sarasota.kijiji.com/c-Cars-vehicles-Other-1976-CHEVY-BLAZER-MOTORHOME-W0QQAdIdZ40108577 Talked with the seller today, it is definitely #671 built in Aug '76. Says he has the rally wheel trim rings and it is rust free.....

**3/19/09 Edit - forgot to put the auction results in from last year, it sold for $5000 and ended up in PA with a guy who bought another eBay Chalet one month later**
