Wow. . . Hard to find part ??????? air filter duct ?

I need to find a out of production part, it a GM-155548947 air cleaner duct, but it was last in circulation in 2007, and no dealers even have heard of it. And it only goes on a Blazer with a air filter Pre-cleaner. Any ideas where I might find something like this ?

LMC sells all the intake ducts, I have one. Mine measures 20 installed so I probably have the 23" one. 14" seems very short, your air filter horn is only a foot away from your rad support/headlight??
 
I think that is what he is looking for. I have never seen one with that setup.
 
I had never seen one either, until a couple of weeks ago. A guy dropped off some parts to me, and this one was in those parts..

Oh yeah, that's the one ! See how short it is as it has to connect to the pre-cleaner first, then it makes the turn into the air cleaner itself. Trucks with a pre-cleaner are rare, I only guess that Texas, AZ and New Mexico would be "pre-cleaner" geography. When my Blazer came off the car hauler, it had a huge dust or tumbleweed catcher mounted to the front bumper.
 
do you want this one, it has some damage on the bottom where it connects to the air cleaner housing.

Thank you, I'm hoping to find a NOS (Their out there, where I just don't know where) but if that fails I'll ask for yours. Thank you !

I have a ton of extra parts, I'm going to make a list and post them, anyone who wants them just let me know and we'll work out a shipping price and their all yours, I don't want anything for them, Free ! Like right now, I have 4 Goodyear Wrangler tires, 235.75R15 with 5000 miles on them free to anyone who wants them. Bought last year.
 
I feel like a fool. I found a mint assembly at a junk yard with that setup. I thought it was home made or something so I just left it.
 
How important are those ducts? My trucks just have the air filter housing - the fresh air duct, the pre heater duct, and the air inlet cover are all missing.
 
Well, the engine runs it's best when it gets a good supply of cool ( or as cool as possible) air. The ducts ensure the air getting to the air cleaner is as cool as possible.
