Wow! I thought it would be illegal to sell a Blazer for this much...

I understand it's easy to pump money into a Blazer.
I also understand it's very hard to get even close to the amount someone puts into one. But wow. I couldn't imagine spending this much on one. Even if I had the money, I would buy one for half the price and use the money elsewhere...
Maybe just me, but I only spent 3000 on mine when I got it...

Let me ask you a question.
From your signature, it definitely looks like you've got alot into your Blazer.
Hypothetically, if you were to sell it, do you think you could get that much for yours?

I think I have a decent Blazer. It only has 10 bolts and a 305 in it, but I just don't see anybody's Blazer getting sold for that much unless it's just CRAZY built or somebody's a SUCKER...
 
That thing is sick but definately not 13 grand sick. I might pay like 8 for it. A while back I had to try to sell it cause I couldn't afford to put new ball joints on it and couldn't get my original 3000 for it.
 
There was a sweet one around here for sale for a while. Wish I had the money when it came up, but it had a 454, big lift, d60, 14bff with disks and was awesome. Guy only wanted like $4000 for it. The motor had developed a knock, but man the motor is the cheapest thing to replace on these Blazers...
 
K5's seem to cover a great range in price. I dropped mine down pretty steep last year with a crate motor with recepit, down to less then $3K, no takers. I know its worth more, but I was in a tough spot. Glad it didn't sell, but I think rigs like ours go from $4-$6K depending on location and drivetrain. The one in the ad, I dunno. The 305 kills it, I would think it could be no more then $4K. As my dad always says, there is an ass for every seat........

Yes, if it was done. Been ofter more, he told me if I ever sell he gets first rights.

Only if someone wanted it worse then I do, haven't found that person yet.

I have owned it sence it was new and have no desire to sell it, my boys think they are going to get it.:haha::haha:

I will have more than that in mine when I get it done with the rebuild.:doah::doah:

I'm sure the line of buyers for yours goes around the block. That is one nice truck. They aren't building new ones, yours, is as close as you could get!
 
Oh wow. Didn't realize you bought yours new. That makes it even more valuable with the sentiment. Really nice.
 
looks like the typical piece of junk with nice paint and speakers.
its probably got 3.08s and that 305. ick.
 
When I had one of my zuks I put it in the paper for 10k just because I got a free add because of a coupon. Actually had a guy come and look at it he tried and tried to get the bank to loan him the 10k. The reason I asked 10 k is cause thats what it would cost me to build another one.
 
He claims it is a 1981, it has the 91 front end doesn't it? That would certainly make it worth more than an 81, but 13K is beyond nuts.
 
Pipe Dream! he is looking for someone that is a "I want it no matter the cost!" type of person. I have 12k in mine, don't mean I can sell it for that. Could be using that start high so the low ball offer you get is more where you want theory.
 
def not worth it unless you have unlimited funds and dont care about cost.it looks nice but i wouldnt see givi more than 6-8 grand for it.
 
Yeah. I'm not trying to say it's not nice.
But not "One of a kind" or "Iconic"
If I wanted that one bad enough and had unlimited funds, I would give the same 6-8k for it...
