WOW this guy is so generous

Heres the response I got. Apparently he sold it for the asking price :haha:

Holding 3 k the Blance due Blah Blah Blah...... Laugh yalls ass off I could care less I got what I was asking for it! Those who came out to see it Knew it was worth the Asking! I Have had ten of the damn things over the years! It hasnt any Issues really other than its Ugly ! I saw others selling and going for 2500 + that would requires 3 grand to get it to the condition this one is in! I dont care what anyone thinks As I got the asking price thanks for the clarification of the Dana 60 as it has the six lugs on both axles! Am I too asume it has the 60's on both front and rear? No Offence taken here buddy ! But I would like the answer to that Question ? Be sure and let the guys know on the BLAZER forum that I got the Asking Price.... this should please everyone considering the damn things were worth twice the asking price before we got into the gas scare again! I was the One that sold the Jimmy for 12500 at the height of all the gas scare! It was very pretty had 84 k on the clock But had some serous issues hidding under all the pretty paint!..... Should have sold for 17 to 19 but I settled for 12 500 as I didnt see things getting any better..... This Blazer is the Last one I have..... By the Way ever seen A top like this? I have a friend that fabs them for me! if you and your blazer buddys wish for the info? Again Be glad I got the askinng price it makes all of you and the Forums trucks worth that much more! Thanks Tim

O and I told him that if his buddy really makes a decent half cab top custom then he needs to get on here and start selling them.

wow is right. he's full of crap.

you apparently have bigger idiots then i have around here. you win.

If it had a motor in it, he could have got that much for that truck in CA a few years ago, maybe not now. I doubt he sold it for that much, but if he did, then it was worth that much to at least someone.

Thats scary that i know **** about Blazers. I think i need to let my subscripition lapse here cause obviously i know nothing :(

If someone actually bought that thing for that price i'd like to sell him some parts. Can you get the guys name?? :D I have a good running 350 that'd fit right in there i'd let go for $1200

:haha:

I'm not saying the guy isn't ignorant. He obviously is misinformed if he believes those are Dana 40 and 60 axles.

If you ignore the stuff that's obviously wrong, he has a low-rust 72 blazer with a halftop, decent tranny, a "vic-hickey" winch and bumper, all new wiring, but no motor. The faded paint job can be ignored since it doesn't help or hurt the value.

If it really had that stuff and nothing was obvious wrong. I'd give him $3500 no problem. A few years ago he could have got more pretty easily. Maybe he's lying about how much it sold for, maybe not. Some people go nuts over first gens.

I'm not the best at math, but I can count and I only count 6 lug nuts holding each wheel on.:doah: Must be the new 6 bolt semi-float D60 rear:p:

they have 6 lug d60s. dont you know anything? my buddy broke 2 studs off d60 so now its a 6 lug:haha:
