want to buy a np205 side mount plate, the one that goes from the t-case to the frame.

Let me know what you have.

You are referencing this item right? Not sure how many might have one to offer up but if you run into difficulties someone with a a band saw and a torch and hammer can probably shape you a replacement. You could also cut two pieces of plate and weld them up too. Hope that helps give you an idea of what it needs to look like if you can not find one.

Not sure what browser you are using but it shows up fine on all mine so maybe you are using something like internet explorer.... which seems to have issues a lot of times doing things that more modern browsers are able to do.

no pic, it looks like it's hosted on google account so it was probably blocked.

Same address as this, its my google shared account. Let me know if it doesn't work again... Not sure how to directly attach photos here because it just pops up the URL link.

Maybe this will work. Usually never have any problems linking anything from my google album's

np205_07.jpg

those are working.

The original pic worked at first and then it was blocked.

You can upload/host pics by using the "upload file or photo" icon at the bottom right hand side of the screen.

Thanks. Took me looking around but I figured it out. I'm used to linking them from my google account because so many forums don't host pictures locally. It's annoying when it's that way but it is what it is, lol.

Not trying to derail this thread or anything but I've got a SM465/NP205 in my '79 K5. My 205 doesn't have the tapped holes for the torque mount and no mount on the frame...

Did they start doing this at a later date than '79?

stopped around then on lots of them . the brace was a early design thing . . . later on went rod to tranny bell bolt/stud.

that pic looks home made with single bushing . and notice the brace rod sandwiched inplace .

this is the item you need. top right biggest 1.

I was wondering about that one I linked looking home made, which I guess goes to demonstrate, it can be home made. OE is nice to get if you can find them though but its going to be a slim chance I suspect. Most guys seem to think putting those back is optional and disposed of them.
