1/2 ton status
I need the small vibration damper flywheel which is located
inside the tailshaft housing of the NV4500HD (GM MT8 option).
It has 32 splines, used in the 4x4 version.
It is about the size and shape of a coffee can.
This IS NOT the flywheel associated with the clutch. It is
a seperate flywheel on the trans output shaft, inside the
tail housing.
The part was commonly removed and not used
when installing certain adaptor kits.
Maybe someone has one laying around.
