Just looked in the service manual to make sure my memory was not faulty. It's knuckle-spindle-caliper bracket...

I figured my problem out. In 1988 dana 60's went to an thinner rotor, I got two of these and it works perfect, no more rubing on the bracket. And it is knuckle-spindle-caliper bracket. Thanks for all the input.

Dodge D60's have thinner rotors than a GM D60.

IIRC a GM D60 rotor is 1.5" thick and a Dodge D60 rotor is 1.25" thick.
Maybe this is the problem and not a year specific thing.

my 91 dodge d60 had 1.5" rotors

the housing has GM stamped on it.
