Take it easy.
My point is that our leadership is setting a poor example... and I was hoping for better.
I was looking for a good pair of winter boots today. I asked for a pair made in the USA. Does that make me a racist because I was really just trying to support my country and its economy.
if you're looking to politics to set the standard for a good lifestyle, you're in trouble. and the comment about buying USA made items doesn't relate to my comment in any way. it's one thing to buy american made to support your country and economy, it's another thing to decide that something must have been made either by or with the mentality of a black person because it's a piece of crap.
although I kind of expect it from a fellow blue stater..![]()
what does this thread have to do with politics? this is about right and wrong - not blue vs. red. however, since we're going to bring politics into this, you might take a look at how your statement furthers the stereotype that republicans are a bunch of old white dudes who hate black people...
hey, easy does it. lets try not to hijack this thread. the main topic, is that the fuel tank is seriously lacking in the R & D department. if my words were offensive, please pm me to express your intolerance.
it's a pretty sad day when a guy stands up for what's right about racism and gets told he's intolerant of other lifestyles. go ahead and try to make your afro-american engineering statement in a more racially diverse setting and see what happens....

i don't want to take this thread off track any further than this, so i'm out of it now. you all know what's right and wrong about this thread - i don't need to be here to show you. it's time you man up and fix what you've said and take a good look at why you would say it or support someone saying it.
OK, I modified my last comment.
