. I kid you not ! One of my old toyota 4x4's had a home made body lift ( I didn't make it
)made from large flat washers welded to a 3" long peice of 2" dom 1/4 wall tubing . At least it had grade 8 bolts . I have a 71 chevy 4x4 sitting in my back yard thats wrecked and belongs to a buddy . It's got 4 " blocks stacked with 2 1/2 " traction / lift bars under the rear springs
. to make matters worse it's got those same 2 1/2 inch traction / lift bars up under the front springs

I once used hockey pucks for a 1 inch body lift. lol. They worked out pretty good but that was back when I was 15 and still learning whats what.
