Hi I have 76 GMC Jimmy 350/TH350-NP203.............lookin for the brace that runs from the Xfer case to the engine. Anbody got one in Sacramento Area or close by?

If you can measure from the holes on the side of the 203 up to the 2nd hole up from the bottom on the passenger side bellhousing, I can check if one I have is long enough for you. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

I'll do that this weekend cause I gotta get a tape measur & some other tools I need at the store Sat. morning,then I'll measure it and PM you. Also do you have the two big narly bolts that hold on that brace as well if not I can pick up some at the hardware store I think.

Hi, I think it's 31" from the last hole to the second one up on the bell housing.

I guess I only have the "L" bracket on the x-case, not the rod.

Bill, I checked another tranny/t-case combo I have with the brace still bolted on and it's mounted to the lower bottom hole on the bellhousing.
I measured from the outside of the bar on the bellhousing side to the first inside hole of the t-case side and it comes to around 29 3/4".
Check your measurement again, but from the bottom hole on the bellhousing. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
