Understood. Ordered one off ebay, but not sure how fast it will get here. Need ot be able to road test the hell out of this thing before i head up to shasta to test drive a boat with a "client" next sunday.

Replaced the MC. Its better, but still spoungy and wierd. F that truck.

So you replaced the MC, and you have new brakes, does it have a brake prop valve in the back?
I had problems with my car when one of those went bad.

I have 3 more shafts. One is missing the top bolt, you'll need to hunt one down at a hardware store. Someone had removed the steering column before me, couldn't find the bolt anywhere. bastards
I will tack weld the tops if requested.

Just saw this thread... Anyways, I am in Huntington and would like to get a steering shaft from you. Complete and welded of course.

the XJ shaft comes from the jeep @ 23 1/4"
This is complete overall length, from tip to tip. As long as your needs are around 24" or smaller, you're good to go.
