XJ Steering shaft?

Question on those of you running the xj shaft. I got mine all installed except for the screw on top part of steering column. Did you guys have to grind a piece off the top for screw to go in or how did you do it on top part.

Yes, you must grind a groove for the pinch bolt to fit. It doesn't take much. Just slide the U-joint where you want it and somehow mark the spot that needs to be ground then remove the shaft and grind a little at a time until it fits.
