The raised steering arm is usually good for 4" by itself. The dropped pitman arm good for at least 2", so I don't see how this can be lifted less than 8". It looks like about a 6" spring (or maybe 4" springs with add-a-leafs up in the middle?), with maybe 2" of block/shim/junk under it. The listing claims 6", but that is probably just the height of the lift kit that was put in.
I wonder how the HEI stays out of the firewall with the T-case dropped that far. He probably kept lowering it trying to fix the driveline vibrations, never realizing that he was just setting up the pinion angle wrong. I imagine those monster curved overload leaves eliminate any need for rear fender trimming.
Really, this is a great K5. It just needs about 1 day at the house of a CK5'er to address the issues and be a great run-around rig. Assuming the engine was built OK anyway.
