Yet Another 700R4 mystery....solved...with a catch...of course...

May have cut the sealing rings on the input drum, or left the transfer tube out of the stator, that is the steel tube that runs from the stator to the Aux valve body at the rear of the case.
 
Thanks Greg! Neglected to mention the pump was from a Shift Management rebuild of an 83 core...new 732 pump but no aux valve body...the hole for the transfer tube was plugged about half an inch in so the tube fits but does NADA...I suspect that MAY be my problem...I'm going to have Deltrans rebuild the 732 from the 89 and get a new converter...I just wanted to see if I could pinpoint the problem before slapping all that in and still not having forward...although I can't see how a new TC and rebuilt pump could HURT LOL...
 
Bill at Deltrans told me the same thing. I'm having the pump and TC from the 89 rebuilt. The converter guy,John,recognized it as one of his builds from before. They definitely made me feel better about the trans.
