I was going to get it this weekend but his kid had a school thing and he couldn't meet me. Maybe next weekend.

I almost think part of what makes it so cool is that is so unique.

Especially when it does it quickly. Should be around 260whp and 2150 lbs. It will be as fast or faster than my V8 Miata.
Actually I need to temper that a bit. With the stock motor I'll keep it around 220whp. That's the limit of stock rods. After it runs well I'll put in a set of forged rods and it will good to 260 (300 crank) hp.
That should be epic!

It's been sitting unloved in the shed since I moved it for butchering deer in November. I have for the first time in many years spent absolutely zero days in the shop this winter.

It is technically driveable. I drove it from one shop to the other, a whopping 30 yards, albeit with a hunk of trailer wiring crimped in for the O2 sensors and the MAF temporarily in place. I need to install the Megasquirt, remove O2 and MAF, install wideband O2 and injectors and tune.
Very cool!
