ah man i want this sooo bad... does it completely replace your motor cross member? what is involved in the installation? also.. a price maybe?

Yup, it replaces the factory crossmember. Requires drilling six holes and some slight trimming of the brake line brackets. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, gotta cut out the factory crossmember.

On this particular piece, the lower mount is made to be welded on the axle tube due to the axle being moved forward and no provision to bolt to the spring plate.

I'll leave it at that for the time being. I got my pee pee slapped the last time we discussed panhard bar setups:haha:

yeah, i was avoiding that....thats why i said to PM you directly for more info...haha, hopefully that will keep the wang slapping to a minimum.

im in the mud only, and i figure the worst it will do for flex is push the axle to one side or the other, which is exactly what it's doing while i drive down the road right now, just really fast and unsafe like...haha. yeah, down here in FL, we have no rocks, just mud and DD for me...which is why this is perfect. and if this fixes the DW, axle moving on me...then unbolting the bar when i wheel would be a very very small price to pay.

Looks beefy as hell but it's going to drastically affect flex.

You may be surprised. I've built a few of these things for some guys and have gotten favorable feedback in that regard. I'm running 6" TC EZ rides on front of my rig and this setup has absolutely no ill effects on suspension travel. However, on a rig with insane flex, yeah it might limit travel a bit.

Removing the bar as you stated would be a perfect combo for your use. Once again, that thing is beefy as hell. Looks good man. I fought DW for the longest time and replaced everything, and i do mean everything and couldn't get it to go away so i "cured" it with hydro assist. :thumb:

i hear ya, that's next on my list...but i kinda wanna know if this helps you know. my buddy has a f250(leaf sprung) and when we removed his panhard bar it DW's like a mofo, worse than mine....basically the axle was moving side to side and it was HORRIBLE. bolted it back in and bingo, gone. ill let ya'll know what happens.

I have one of those and so does cbbr. Matter of fact, I'm thinking about getting another one to keep as a paperweight.
