hardly detailed,
just polished the knuckles a bit and primed and painted
when I get to the rest of the dif it will be done really nicely

I kinda took step by step images installing the parts Tim sent me

once I get to turning the knuckles I will document that as well

as this is currently my only vehicle/daily driver I couldnt spend the time I wanted to do it 'right'.
If you are able, I would start by finding a shop that will hot tank the housing and parts you are going to reuse.
starting with clean parts makes the 'gussying up' part a lot easier then what I had to do piecemeal

If that was light blue it would swear it was az-k5 (Matt's) truck. He does stuff like that.

All is that I know when my truck is done EVERYTHING is going to be repainted, cleaned and fixed. Im not going to half ass anything this time cause ive payed for it already and I just want to do it right this time so its gonna be bitchin this time.

Hehe... I just got done scrubbing my bearing hubs in the bathtub /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif Paint tommorow /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

God this is so cool! I've never got to see my parts in action, everybody that buys stuff, I ask for pictures of their trucks so I can appreciate all the work that goes into whatever vehicle my parts end up on.

What better person to put them to use than m j. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Oh and it's a royal pain in the ass to mail parts to a foreign country guys, especially in a box as heavy as to include spindles, kingpin repair parts, and u joints. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Those are the SPL55-4x joints as well, not too often you see people going with the greasables, but that's what he got and I was very impressed to note that they appear every bit as beefy as the 5-806x non-greasables.

This is so cool to finally see it done. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I guess its nice... for my kind of wheeling... a great waste of time.

The cleaning... no... the detailing... yes.

SECKSY!! /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif
