When your wife asks you what you're getting your girlfriend (truck)for Christmas and is jealous it cost more than what you got her. Lol
You know you love your truck when.........................................................despite it having a multitude of potentially hazardous defects,some out of your ability to repair,and a lot of rust,rot and ugly,you still dont have the heart to part it out,or scrap it...........................I did scrap a few of my previous trucks,and still regret doing so,even though they were pretty much beyond restoration..should have kept them for "yard trucks"...

You know you love your rig when Price is no object, spend every last penny on what nobody else thinks you need(Except CK5'ers) , invest wayyy more than you will ever see back AND you bitch if you have to pay full price to buy new rotors for the wife's daily driver or whine about having to put in irrigation when we have a perfectly good hose.
when you are out in the shop preparing for a long trip and giving a pep talk to your blazer about the upcoming trip,my wife caught me doing this once,she thuoght i was nuts,then said i dont use that many words in a week normally

When you can relate to most everything in this thread, except the whole semi thing.... And its only cause you can't afford it! Cause lord knows, if you could you would!

In my case both of us went to the "garage" first to scope out how well our trucks would fit and where the hoist would go.
