You Might Be A CK5 Member If...

If you take two tires, lay one flat, and prop the other one against it, it makes a comfy chair.

you might be a ck5 member if you have fallen asleep in the gravel under your truck.

I used to work nights and would come home and wrench during the day. I fell asleep for 6 hours once.

You might be a CK5er if.... you carry a "spare" transmission with you on road trips and consider needing it an acceptable roadside repair

I kinda wish I carried a spare motor with me. Because right now my Jimmy is stuck on the riverbank in some ruts with a blown motor ;) It was a long walk back, and it's gonna be a bitch to get out.

Pretty funny that you guys keep truck parts where you do though. My dad gets pissed because I have some extra brackets and leaf springs laying in my garage and under my deck. I thought I was bad!

If your idea of taking your wife/girlfriend out involves your truck, tools, spare parts and at least 4 of you buddy's

....all you want for Christmas, birthday, Fathers Day, Valentines Day, or Anniversery is posted in the classified section :eek1:  !!

For example: Buying four clevis hooks from ThatK30guy and telling my wife that's what she got me for Valentines Day :D :woot: !!

you live at home with mommy and daddy so you can afford to build your k5.......damn i need to move back home :doah: :doah:

Here's one for those of us in the younger crowd:

You might be a CK5 member if you didn't make the honor role because instead of doing your homework you were posting on CK5. ;)

OR
because your on CK5 all the time in school:rolleyes:

You dream your playing for the Dallas Cowboys, but your driving your K5 around on the field.

Actually, Base housing is backing off a little cuz I hooked them up with new phones. They are pissed however at the HUGE oil stains I've left. Tranny swap left one about 6ft across. Engine swap is close to 10ft now. I got smart and hid all my spares and whatnot inthe basement or in the backyard (running boards, tires, old tranny, my Burbs back seat until it rained). I'll be adding a set of axles to the list later this summer. Eventually another engine. My wife cant figure out why they wont give us a new house...........I know damn well why they wont.

I never relized how big 31's are untill i put them in my living room..

Yes, my Loveseat has seatbelts..
I also have spark plugs, distributor cap and stuff for tuneup including wires, brake cleen, GM RTV, Wynns throttle body cleaner, spark plug gapper, toolboxes, bench seat out of a 1990 Plymouth Voyager, in my living room.
My bedroom has plates, mirrors, light covers, core support, grill, inner fender, repair manuals and other 4x4 books and magazines, toolboxes, hubcabs.
The storage room has all my filters fluids gaskets most everything else for the truck.
The kitchen has 2 air boxes, brake cleen, some other stuff..
Ill have a transmission in the living room or kitchen in a couple days untill i can get it into the truck.

I am single, 17, and live with my family.. I only just received a complaint about the air boxes and im the only one who knows about the tires(I didnt want them to get rained on!).

EDIT
Oh, and i would be taking my spare transmission with me on road trips..but i need cash right now so im selling my TH350c for 50 bucks. It needs a cleaning in the pan and probably some new gaskets.

Cabledawg, what rank are you? I'm hoping to make staff (it's my first time testing) so I can move into the nice NCO housing with attached garages and stuff to put all of my junk in. But I think I would get into more truouble because there's more rank over there to see me doing hillbilly things

Fell asleep standing-up in the shower.:haha:

I'm a little sentimental here but:

You don't own a GM for over four years but when you come back people still treat you the same and even still remember you.:thumb:

How many of you packrats are married? The wife would kill me if I bought anything big into the house. Jeesh, I get enough crap for the PC I have sitting in peices in my office and the car/truck magazines I have sitting around. I'm waiting for her to call the tow truck on the parts vehicle I have sitting in my stall of the garage.:wink1:

Couple years ago I helped a friend and his gf move. Guy was an active Jeeper. We had to move all of the automotive stuff to one place and their combined "living stuff" to their new place which was completely seperate. We took two trips comprised of my Ranger and trailer (both loaded down) and his Rubicon and his ATV trailer (both loaded down) to the barn to get his automotive stuff taken care of. In the mean time his gf moved 90% of their stuff by herself using only the rear cargo compartment of a 2 door S10 Blazer.:tongue1:

My woman is in the hospital....

She is 8 months pregnant and got phenomia. Spelling is wrong I know. But since she is in there I need to work on things and have to stay in the house with my son. I just bought rims aswell. lol.
