You know you're CK5er when base housing tells you to pick up all the bumpers and and truck parts up around your front porch area and put the hood and doors back on the truck you're painting in the driveway.

AWESOME!! so I'm not the only one. Our housing office wrote me up for "major vehicle repairs". I told them it wasnt major. Tranny swap doesnt sound major to me. Now the engine swap that has taken a week so far could be major..........

you cant do major repairs in your own driveway? what happens when something major breaks and you need it fixed before you can move the vehicle?

one other thing, while here at school I dont have a place to work on my truck. I already put a set of head gaskets on in the parking lot and in a couple weeks Im gonna do an axle swap.:D

the maintenance people think its awesome and they come by and talk to me while Im working on it but Im sure if any of the school officials came by they would frown on it. good thing I park in a place where they dont normally go unless they hear about a problem in the area.

at first I thought it was a little off that people kept parts in their bedrooms. Dorm rooms I understand since thats the only space you have.

I never even realized I was doing it but I have all sorts of parts on, under and around my desk at work. This desk is cleaner then my last since I transferred recently.

the list goes something like this. 15x10 wheel under my desk with random other parts. JKWoffroad end cap that is an expensive paper weight till it stops snowing. my paragon flag hanging from the ceiling in case I have the urge to leave work, drive 2 hours and go wheeling. And my headers are supposed to be delivered today.

nothing makes going to work better then have parts delivered. otherwise it would just be work, and that would suck.

The tranny shop wanted $250 for the R&R of my tranny. My park only fined me $50. It was a no brainer. I paid the $50 fine.

When i was in high school i assembled a set of new edlebrock performer heads in my bed room....................yea my mom was pissed about the assebly lube on the carpet. I remember saying something like " its better than rebuilding some old greasey heads Ma" she didnt see it my way at all. since then i dont bring much in the house even though my mom aint around.

I think I have everyone beat when I say I've got four (4) 38x15.5x16.5 Radial Super Swampers on 16.5x12 Weld Racing Super Single II wheels in the corner of my bedroom at the foot of my bed.

Yep, they're in there. No other place to store them. I can get pics if you don't believe me.

You might CK5 material if you cart home a Caddy500, without a clue as to what will be done with it.:haha:
Thanks Noah.:D

Hey cabledawg, what would your base say about this? The humvee tire flower planters will be coming this spring after I get the tires dismounted. I need to make more rank so I can get more yard.

I have a set of DIY shackle flips on the living room floor sitting ON TOP of the box they came in. They have been there for about two months. Oh ya, did I mention that I had them shipped overnight freight to Alaska :doah:

Is that like renting a movie, gettting charged late fees, and never watching the movie?
I'm the master at that.

nice wallpaper.
It was in the house when I bought it. It was a cheap house, too, and that translates to more money to spend on other stuff. :wink1:
