i dont think ANYONE shoiuld bash a 2.2L because my buddy built a J-BODY cavalier. drag car with a 2.2L in it and his best time was a 11.4 in the 1/4 i can get pics if wanted
that thing was fast, it was turbocharged and intercooled though but still sweet
just though i would say that since we were on the subject of tiny motors

I'm serious about this....I've got some ideas rolling around.

Enough gearing can make a damn good crawler out of a "blender" motor.... My little 1.6 crawls great w/ 220:1 gearing.....

But that "gearing" is what would be my concern! W/ a 465/203/205/4.10 you'd only be @ 107:1 or so....

Not sure that's enough for a 4 banger....
