I can't sleep and I'm bored with no night crew active really.

Sooo. Favorite power tool you have owned/ longest lasting.

I have 2 my newer Milwaukee 18v fuel drill. I am hard on power tools and while the nice plastic guards are ripped off and the reversing trigger is super touchy. It really doesn't stop ever. Hold too tight and it will hurt you.

My second well first. My Porter Cable tiger saw. Circa 2001ish. I have probably put a grand worth of blades through this thing. Everything from cutting bumpers out of plate years ago. Constant use for 20 minutes at a time to notching cages cutting IFS suspensions out, cutting junk cars apart. Cutting anything. Even had a wood blade on it a time or two.

It's still rocking. When it finally dies I'm gonna build it a coffin and bury it in the backyard.

Mine is miliwakee swazall. I've had it longer than I've had my wife, and it's been thru more vehicles. Plus I got it used when I worked at the tool rental of Home Depot.

A Milwaukee 9" grinder. Got it back in the early 80s. It's a tank, weighs a ton, but when you need a lot of metal moved in a hurry it's my go to weapon......It's my 50 cal of grinders.:D

Dewalt sawzall, circa 1996. variable speed trigger and a speed potentiometer. It's out lasted several moves, dozens of cars, an ex-wife...

I like the flat scrapper for tile and drywall demo. It kicks like a mule

The big wheel of Death

Hmmm, here lately I have invested in a few new cordless tools. LOVE the Milwakee 1/2" 18v Fuel impact I got. 32 bolt hummer beads will drain even a good compressor pretty fast! LOVE the 18v cordless Fuel grinder too! & then there are the 3/8 impact & the 18v LED. All Milwakee. These have been my favorites as of late. So much more convent than stringing cords every time I turn around.

Same here, my friend found it on the side of the road in its metal case and gave it to me. It was a well used when I got it, 20 years ago.

I'll have to post up a picture of my Sawsall. I found a rebuilt one at a close out store that was a anniversary edition. Polished aluminum casting & a gold colored ID tag!

Milwaukee right? That's the one I have too.

Honestly, I have never had any real power tools for very long. But my 10 year old Kobalt 1/2 inch cordless impact is kicking some serious arse still. And I am not nice to it.

Now I'd say that my toughest power tool is a Milwakee 1/2 corded drill. I never ever use it unless I have too. That thing has so damn much torque that it's dangerous. Your bit may stop but the drill keeps going, trying to tear your arm off at the elbow. Im pretty sure it is what they use to keep the earth spinning.

I have one also and it seems to get used a lot. I've noticed a few others in the shop like to use it too, but not enough to be irritating. I also use the little Milwaukee impact a lot more than I ever thought I would. On the occasions I can't get a cordless to fit, it amazes me how much longer it takes to remove a bolt/nut with a regular old wrench. :haha:

Believe it or not, I have an old black and decker 1/2 drive electric impact. My dad picked it up 30 years ago and I have had it for the last 10. It eats h1 12 bolts for lunch.

Sounds like the same one my Dad has. He's had it as long as I can remember so at least 30 years and it's still kicking ass.

My latest favorite tool is the Crapsman 19.2 C3 1/2 impact. I think I am fixing to follow it up with the matching line of cut off wheel (for wrecking yard visits and a couple extra batteries and as soon as I get the house purchase completed I'm going to be picking up this for the Manzone... Sick and tired of having to put all my tool sin multiple tool boxes, lol.
