I have seen none, please show me one.

All 2wd burbs were IFS (in 15 years in the auto repair industry I have never seen a 4wd burb with IFS prior to '92).

edit: didn't see that previous post.

I kinda figured we were talking about 4x4's...

Me too. But that's the only IFS I could think of in the years being discussed.

I have the loaded 3/4-ton. The only option I like is the bucket seats & delay wipers. Every other option has been headache and as a result, some have been junked.

Power door locks - no longer work
Power windows - 2 work, 1 is flakey, 1 coverted to manual
Power tailgate - keyswitch dead, glass needs help to close
carpet - trashed, 1/2 removed
headliner - trashed, 1/2 removed
AC - dead, busted airbox, converted to complete non-AC setup.
Tilt column - I never ever tilt it...

Good point. Very true. Delay wipers are the best, everything else is a pain in the a$$ when they go. I wrestled with my power window motors for months.

Well, for all of those that care. I had to pass on the 89.

A quick brakedown. Interior was near perfct for it's age , Engine ran great . But the body was an issue. I know I had the pics and a description from the owner . But they didn't match . Everything from the rear axel back was rotten. Way to much work. I don't mind doing sheet metal work . but the last 4 body mounts were gone. And the rear frame was swiss cheese filled with spray foam insulation. It was still a good deal for the money but I don't have the time or place. Or for that favt the pateince. Great guy who understood so I couldn't fault him he didn't know.

thanks
bob

I guess I'll look at the 3/4 again.
