Ok,i was reading an old car magazine and i found an add in it for this web site. they have every law for every state that is published in the crime codes and vehicle codes book's ! everything from lift laws to drug laws to handgun laws and what the police can and can't do/ search to an individual. now granted most of you won't buy the $500 crimes codes book for federal law,,but i think that $100 for ALL the vehicle codes in Pa is a bargain. i know people who are police officers,,and they cannot always tell me what the law is. this might make it a little easier the next time someone get's a ticket /forums/images/graemlins/deal.giffor something they feel they shouldn't have, go to court a little more prepared,,or to even help avoid that all together by finding out the law and possibly discussing it with a trooper or other law enforcement official.

just thought some of you might be interested in something like this

gould law publishing all this is on floppy,CD-ROM , and paper

Most states have their Vehicle Codes on the internet for free. If you live in California for example, you can go here and look up not only the Vehicle Code, but every other State of Ca. code: http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/calaw.html For Colorado, I found it here: http://198.187.128.12/colorado/lpext.dll?f=templates&fn=fs-main.htm&2.0 Having it on one disk would be handy, although most states constantly revise their codes so you would hopefully get updates included in the price. Pa. codes can be found here: http://members.aol.com/StatutesPA/75.html and here too I think: http://www.pacode.com/secure/data/067/subpartIAtoc.html And, here is Nevada: http://www.leg.state.nv.us/NRS/NRS-484.html

kewl, i had looked around for a while for some of this stuff but never was really able to find anything on it and none of the local police knew either.plus im not very efficient about searching through the govmt. sites

Or if your Mom is a lawyer, in my case, you can just leaf through the thousands of pages of Wisconsin Law books. They have all the laws regarding bumper heights, exhaust, mudflaps, bigger tires, and other modifications. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Not to mention that every year, most codes have some amendments, new laws, laws thrown out so I really wouldn't waste the money on stuff like that since a lot of the info is free on the World Wide Web.
